Sister Funk, the New England based, all-female act who for the past 15 years has performed over 1500 shows sharing stages with Foreigner, Melissa Etheridge, ZZ Top, Pointer Sisters to name a few. In addition to their 4 full length groove-rock CDs they play an eclectic array of current and classic pop/rock and county covers from artists like: Lizzo, Heart, Journey, Queen, Meghan Tranior, Dan and Shea to name a few.

They have won many awards and contests Best Rock And Best New Band- The Advocate, Mohegan Sun Local’s Live and featured on hundreds of radio stations. The band delivers a high energy performance with a wide range of music perfect to please any crowd.

United Rhythms Dancers

Dancing Sunday, Dec. 15 at 2p

United Rhythms Dancers will be brining in the festive spirit with holiday dances! United Rhythms has been in business since 1991 and offers dance for ages 2 thru adults with levels beginner thru advanced. Our dance studio offers classes in Ballet, Tap, Hip Hop, Jazz, Contemporary, Latin and All Boys Classes too!

Credits from our instructors include dancing Nationally and Internationally.  They have performed at Michael Jacksons “Neverland Ranch”, Mohegan Sun Arena, Foxwoods Arena along with the BB King Lounge, Radio City Music Hall and choreographed for the NY Knicks, and artists from MCA, Warner Bros., and Sony.  We look forward to ringing in the Holidays with you!

Nightshift is a five-piece cover band that performs the most popular and fun songs from the 60s, 70s and 80s. Audiences love every song on their set list. Everyone from the kids to grandparents are certain to have a really fun time.

Nightshift is well-known for their appreciation of veterans, active military and all first responders.

Bored of Education

Playing Sunday Dec. 22 from 1p to 3p

Bored of Education is a 5 piece rock band that plays music from across the decades. Whether it be Pat Benatar, Maroon 5, The Police or Tool, they aim to entertain any crowd.

Although the oldest member is just 18, they are well-versed in their musical achievements. Bored of Education is a high energy band doing what they love. Learn more at their website.

Aces & Axes

Mobile Axe Throwing Trailer on-site Dec. 27, 28 & 29

Axe throwing these days is more than just simply throwing axes at a target. It has evolved into a competition based sport with several leagues and specific rules and regulations to govern the safety and competition of the sport.

Aces & Axes brings axe throwing action to the New England Winter Festival.

Braiden Sunshine

Playing Friday, Dec. 27 from 6p to 8p

Fan favorite and 2015 semi-finalist on NBC’s The Voice, Braiden Sunshine is not new to the spotlight. Braiden got his start in music at a very young age. At five years old Braiden began singing in his church choir before quickly moving on to join forces with other like-minded/talented musicians and releasing their self-titled debut in 2012.

Braiden is a singer-songwriter, performing musician, and car enthusiast with a taste for pop, rock, and blues.

Yousef Tae Kwon Do Family Fitness & Wellness

Demonstration Saturday, Dec. 28 at 2p

Yousef Tae Kwon Do Family Fitness & Wellness is located in Berlin, Connecticut and they are celebrating their 30th year. Classes taught and instructed by owners, Waleed and Kristen Yousef. Check out the demonstration this year at the New England Winter Festival.

Classes in tae kwon do, yoga, cardio kickboxing, conditioning, general health and wellness and plant-based medicine.

Jackson Hill Band

Playing Saturday, Dec. 28 from 6p to 9p

Jackson Hill is a contemporary country band covering some of the biggest country hits, and maybe some lesser known good time songs, spanning over the last 2 decades and beyond! Jackson Hill has had the opportunity to open shows for national touring acts including Justin Moore, Craig Morgan, and Brothers Osborne. With their big harmonies and rocking arrangements, the Middlefield based band has garnered a reputation as one of Connecticut’s great country bands!

Showtime Saturday, Dec. 28 at 11:30 a.m. at Fire at the Ridge

This show is held at Fire at the Ridge, and not on the Main Stage. The show is free with the purchase of Sunday Brunch. Brunch includes admission to New England Winter Fest.

Connecticut’s #1 live singing dynamic drag duo will be performing a free sneak peak performance on Dec. 29 during the Winter Festival’s Sunday Brunch. This family-friendly performance is not to be missed with the very talented Barbra Joan Streetsand and Summer Orlando.

Show time is 11:30 a.m. and is free with the purchase of brunch. Admission to the last day of the New England Winter Festival is included. Brunch prices below
